Apr 29, 2017 | 8:40 PM

The Prince Albert Outlaws came mightily close, but could not pick up their first win in two games this weekend.

On Friday, the Outlaws narrowly fell 13-12 in overtime to the Saskatoon Steelers on the road in Stoon.

Kent Porter led the way offensively with a three-goal, five-point effort. Javan Bexson had a hat trick for the Outlaws. Jagg Carlson scored a pair in his Outlaws debut.

On Saturday at home at the Kinsmen Arena, the Outlaws were beaten 21-7 by the Regina Heat.
