Prime Minister Trudeau visits rural Sask.

Apr 27, 2017 | 12:10 PM

The prime minister paid a visit to small town Saskatchewan on Thursday.

Justin Trudeau was on a farm just outside of Gray, a town about 39 kilometres south of Regina. The farm is owned by Todd Lewis, belonging to his family since 1903.

Trudeau toured the farm and took the opportunity to learn about the different pieces of farming equipment.

He spent the morning talking to farmers before taking questions from the media on topics ranging from NAFTA to U.S. President Trump to the recent ruling in the province involving Catholic schools receiving funding for non-Catholic students.
