Ex-PA’er Anderson 4-0 at Senior Curling Provincials

A couple of curling teams with Prince Albert connections are battling it out at the 2016-17 Affinity Credit Union Senior Joint Provincials in Swift Current.
Former Prince Albert resident Sherry Anderson is flying high on the women’s side. The team she skips out of Saskatoon of Patricia Hersikorn, Brenda Goertzen and Anita Silvernagle are 4-0. They beat Saskatoon’s Peggy Fernquist 7-2 and Wadena’s Delores Syrota 8-3 on Thursday.
On the men’s side, Prince Albert’s Bryan Rindal and his team of Angus Hemsworth, Cliff Selander and Chris Bannerman are 1-3 after their first four games. They conceded after four ends to Swift Current’s Max Kirkpatrick losing 10-1, and fell narrowly to McKee 4-3 earlier on Thursday.
