Île-à-la-Crosse RCMP arrested an Alberta man for trafficking cocaine early Friday morning.
Lyle Allan Wilson, 26, of Edmonton, was arrested and charged by RCMP after officers conducted a traffic stop on an unregistered vehicle at roughly 4 a.m. Jan. 20. RCMP said they seized cocaine and cash during the arrest.
Wilson was charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000 and breach of recognizance. He will appear before an Île-à-la-Crosse Provincial Court Monday to answer the charges.
