Shell Lake man wins $111K playing lotto

A man from Shell Lake has received an early Christmas gift.

Gerald Bear won over $111,000 on the Nov. 12 LOTTO 6/49 draw.

He purchased the winning ticket at Cree Way Gas West in Saskatoon.

“I stopped to check my tickets,”” he said. ““When I saw $111,851.20 come up on the ticket checker, I had to take a step back.””

Bear plans to take a trip and pay off some bills.
