Hot Beardy’s goaltender snaps Mintos’ streak

The Prince Albert Mintos saw their three-game winning streak come to a halt on Thursday as the Beardy’s Blackhawks rattled off a 4-2 victory at the Art Hauser Centre.

Blackhawks goaltender Shaemus McLeod made 37 saves to lead his side to victory and was named as Beardy’s player of the game.

Kyrell Sopotyk opened the scoring for the Mintos before the Blackhawks scored four consecutive goals from Dodge Long, Tian Rask and a pair from Austin Bill.

Tanner Robin scored his first goal as a Minto in the third period to make it a 4-2 game.
