Meath Park students prepare to return to school

Dec 8, 2016 | 11:00 AM

After their school suffered significant fire damage, Meath Park School students have been given the all-clear to return.

According to Sask. Rivers Public School Division director of education Robert Bratvold, teachers will return on Jan. 3 with students resuming classes the next day.

Restoration work will continue. If the clean-up isn’t completed by this time or the facility is unfit for operation the school won’t re-open.

Bratvold said he fully expected the school to be ready.
