Titans pick up their 1st W; Bears blemish Stars’ perfect record

The Prince Albert Titans scored four goals in the third period to come away with a 4-2 win over the Carrot River Outback Thunder Saturday at the Kinsmen.

They were down 1-0 after 40 minutes of play, but got goals from Kade Cooper, Connor Bear, Austin Odnokon and Ryan Hordal to skate away with the victory.

The Titans’ next game is Wednesday against the Thunder once against at the Kinsmen.

The Prince Albert Northern Bears are the first team to be the Saskatoon Stars in the Saskatchewan Female Midget AAA Hockey League this year.

The Bears skated away with a 4-2 win over the Stars Saturday on the road. They scored the first four goals of the game from Kate Ball, Abby Soyko, Jadyn Kushniruk and Brooklyn Anderson.

The Bears will take on the Stars again on Sunday.
