Questions remain over GTH land deal

Oct 22, 2016 | 9:13 AM

The provincial government was on the defensive over the controversial Global Transportation Hub (GTH) land deal in day two of the legislative session.

The provincial auditor found no wrongdoing but questions remained about the deal which saw the land sold well above market value.

And now there’s indications there may have been a breach of cabinet confidentiality as the parties involved worked to negotiate the sale.

Despite repeated questions Minister Jeremy Harrison stuck with the same line about the auditor’s report.
