The Prince Albert Novice Swarm lacrosse team came back from Saskatoon with some historic hardware on Sunday.

According to Swarm head coach Mike Vancoughnett, this is the first time a team from Prince Albert has won the Saskatoon tourney. They beat the Regina Rush 6-4 in the final.

That avenged their lone loss of the tournament, an overtime defeat to the Rush in the round robin.

The team is coached by Mike Vancoughnett, Kerri Vezeau, and Boris Bissky.  Players are Raye Vezeau, Jacob Klassen, Brooklyn Vancoughnett, Lance Cochrane, Eric Ward, Brayden Reiger, Van Taylor, Levi Coulibaly-Grimard, Carter Coulibaly-Grimard, Chase Gerard, Chase Wiegers, Hayes Kleiboer, Will Whitter, Cole Ratti, Zander Bissky and goalie Dominic Leeb.
