Jun 26, 2016 | 4:00 PM

Despite rainy weather, Parkland Ambulance Paramedics only received 46 calls for service this weekend.

In a serious incident, paramedics were dispatched to a parking lot on 15th St. and 15th Ave. E. just after 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 26.

An 84-year-old female was pinned under a vehicle when paramedics arrived at the location. She was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and remains there for further care.

Paramedics are reminding people, temperatures rise in summer and they should not leave pets or children in hot cars.
