For the second straight year, Prince Albert Raiders goaltender Ian Scott will hang out with elite company.

Scott has been invited to Hockey Canada’s Program of Excellence goaltending camp, taking place June 9 to 12 in his hometown of Calgary. Scott is one of eight goaltenders in the Under-18 division, hoping to fight for spots in Canada’s National Men’s Summer U18 team.

Scott played 26 games in his rookie season last year for the Raiders, the most among 1999-born goaltenders in the WHL and second most in the CHL. He posted at 13-9-2 record with a 3.24 goals against average and 0.892 save percentage.

Scott won a gold medal at the 2015 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, making 21 saves in the final game to help lift Team Canada White to victory.
