Three P.A. paramedics to be recognized in Regina

Three members of Parkland Ambulance in Prince Albert will soon receive Exemplary Service Medals and Stars of Life Awards.

Lieutenant Governor Vaughn Solomon Schofield will present the awards to 18 emergency medical services professionals at 2 p.m. this afternoon, May 30, in Regina.

Patrick Bellisle, Coralee Dutchak and Eden Shirley of Parkland Ambulance are all being recognized at the ceremony.

The Exemplary Service Medal is Canada’s highest honours for paramedics and recognizes those who have served 20, 30 or 40 years in the industry while the Stars of Life Award recognizes outstanding commitment and acts of bravery.
