Truck strikes cop car, crashes into house during dangerous chase

A quick car chase in a southeast Prince Albert suburb ended with a car crashing into a house.

At 10:10 a.m. today, May 26 Prince Albert Police were told by Big River RCMP to be on the lookout for two suspects who allegedly committed a violent home invasion and stole a truck in the RCMP’s service area.

The suspects vehicle was found by P.A. police shortly after noon in the 2800 block of Sherman Dr. Police tried to stop the car in a parking lot, but the plan failed.

The truck sped up trying to avoid police, barreling through an apartment courtyard and struck a cop car before carrying on and striking a house across the road.

No one was hurt and the suspects, both 19-years-old, were located and charged.
