If you have been honoured as a BOB nominee or know someone, some place, or something that deserves to win, then don’t wait; vote now.
Voting began three weeks ago for paNOW’s third annual BOB awards and, similar to last year, the tallied number of votes to date proves readers are eager to recognize the best of the best in Prince Albert.
Within the first 12 hours, there were already over 16,500 votes cast. Two weeks later, that number rose to over 283,000. To date there has been 376,200 votes cast.
With more than 250 categories the BOBs, are a great opportunity for local businesses, people, or community groups to gain some exposure and promote themselves. Last year, the top nominees got creative in getting the word out to better their chances to win. This year’s top nominees continue to do the same extensively marketing themselves on social media.
Last year there were over 400,000 votes cast during the voting stage making the BOBs the biggest, most successful reader survey ever conducted in Prince Albert. This year that number is anticipated to be much higher.
Voting will continue until June 3. The 2016 BOBs winners will be announced June 8.
