Busy long weekend for Parkland Ambulance Paramedics

Parkland Ambulance Paramedics fielded 82 calls for service over the May long weekend.

A car crash just before 3:30 p.m. Monday, May 23 was the only major incident during construction and traffic on the Diefenbaker Bridge. The crash happened on Hwy.55 E. two kilometres East of the city. 

Two people were cared for and taken to hospital in good condition for further care.

On Saturday, May 21 they responded to several assaults around the city, treating four people for minor injuries.
