Update: No serious injuries reported after car flips from crash

The intersection at Fifth Ave. E. and 28th St.  E. was filled with glass following a two vehicle collision Thursday night, May 19.

A small white car rear-ended a parked vehicle. The impact of the crash caused the white car to flip onto his side.

The jaws of life were used to extracate the driver from the car.

Police have said alcohol was not a factor, and no charges will be laid.

Medical issues are to blame.

The woman driving the white car was conscious when paramedics arrived and could be overheard saying she “blacked out.”   

She was taken by ambulance to hospital in good condition.
