After a coroner’s investigation, RCMP have confirmed the human remains found last week in a rural area west of Prince Albert belong to Troy Napope.

The RCMP’s Underwater Recovery Team (URT) had found the remains in a body of water on April 20. At the time investigators said they believed the remains belonged to Napope.

This is the latest development in the long case of Napope’s disappearance and murder.

The two men accused of murdering Napope and burning the car, Braidy Vermette and Skylar Bird, have been charged and arrested.
