The knee injuries to Saskatchewan Roughriders kicker Luca Congi and receiver Rob Bagg are as severe as first expected.

Sources tell News Talk Radio that Luca Congi will miss the remainder of the season after the knee on his kicking leg was injured on a blocked field goal in the second quarter of the Riders 34-26 loss to the Calgary Stampeders on Sunday.

In that same quarter, Rob Bagg suffered a knee injury when it buckled underneath him. Bagg's chances of a return this season, including playoffs, is being called “doubtful.” Bagg was putting together another career year with 44 catches for 688 yards and three touchdowns.
