Residential fire under investigation

The Prince Albert Fire Department responded to a house fire in a unit block of 29th Street East, Sunday night, March 6.

“Dispatch came in for a structure, we responded with three units. En route we could see a cloud of smoke,” Kris Olsen, Battalion Chief, said.

Fire trucks arrived at the scene shortly after 10:00 p.m., the last truck was relieved at 1:00 a.m.

“We completed a primary and secondary search of the structure and no one was found inside. At this time the building is being secured by city police and is currently under investigation,” Olsen said.
