Hall Lake youth in custody after shooting

Two Hall Lake youth have been taken into custody after firing a gun in public.

La Ronge RCMP and Band Security Personnel responded to a call of a teen firing a gun at approximately 4:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 29. 

The two youth were taken into custody without incident.

No injuries were reported.

Hall Lake residents said one of the charged youth had been drinking in the afternoon before the shooting. He had allegedly made a Facebook post on the Hall Lake eBay Facebook page saying people were accusing him of stealing.
