Riders bolster defensive line

The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed international defensive lineman Shawn Lemon on Friday, Jan.15.

Lemon, 27, had 15 tackles, six sacks and three forced fumbles in nine games last season with the Ottawa Redblacks. He missed the first half of the 2015 campaign attending the training camp of the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers.

Lemon played one regular-season game with Saskatchewan in 2011 before spending time with Edmonton and Calgary, winning a Grey Cup with the Stampeders in 2014.
