Prince Albert is a community in boom

Oct 18, 2010 | 11:19 AM

The City of Prince Albert is receiving national recognition.
The Canadian Federation of Independent Business and the National Post have just released their list of the top ten entrepreneurial cities in Canada.
For cities with populations of 25,000 people and more, Prince Albert finished fourth.
Last year, Prince Albert finished tenth.
“This is a team recognition that Prince Albert is a community in boom, a great place to do business,” said Mayor Jim Scarrow.
The cities finishing ahead of us were LLoydminster, Saskatoon and Grande Prairie.

Crown Cleaners is a local business that has been around for more than 30 years.
“Prince Albert is a great place to do business, everyone knows one another, and the charitable donations are great too,” said company president, Brent Macdonald.
The family owns four businesses in the city and Macdonald is not ruling out further expansion in the future.
