P.A. police deal with busy weekend

The Prince Albert Police Service responded to 213 calls from Friday night to Sunday at noon.

Twenty-five people were arrested. Sixteen people were arrested for public intoxication.

Thirty-four calls were for public disturbances, while 32 of those calls were for intoxicated persons.

Files of significance:

Early Saturday morning police got a call for three people contaminated with bear spray. They were transported to hospital for decontamination. The suspect has not been located and police are still investigating.

Police responded to the 500 block of 6th St. E at 1:24 a.m. Saturday. They found an adult woman assaulted. While on scene the police received a related call of a young man stabbed in the arm. Police have determined both injuries happened during the same encounter. The man has been charged with aggravated assault. Police are still investigating.

A trailer at a construction site in the 200 block of 38th St. E. was broken into and equipment was stolen early Saturday morning. Police are still investigating and are asking for any information about the incident.
