P.A. Police investigate armed robbery on West Hill

An armed robbery which occurred early Tuesday morning is currently being investigated by the Prince Albert Police Service.

Police were dispatched shortly after 5 a.m. for an armed robbery complaint to a business in the 2700 block of 2nd Ave. W.

The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes after entering the store and waving around a firearm. No one was injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as having a slim build and is between 5-6 and 5-8 tall. He was wearing a light coloured hooded jacket, a white and black bandana, dark pants and sunglasses.
