Leslie Black case adjourned once again

Oct 7, 2015 | 12:38 PM

Leslie Black appeared in court Wednesday to learn he will be represented by a lawyer when he returns to court Nov. 12.

Black is the man responsible for the brutal assault of Marlene Bird in 2014.  He had appealed the withdrawal of his previous legal representation. His appeal was denied.

His case was adjourned to give his new yet-to-be-appointed lawyer time to get up to speed on the case.

Black has already been represented by two different lawyers. His most recent lawyer withdrew from the case Aug. 11, citing a breakdown in his relationship with Black.
