Man killed in ATV rollover near Biggar

Alcohol containers were found by RCMP officers at the scene of an ATV rollover on Saturday night near Biggar that left one man dead and two others injured.

The rollover happened just south of Highway 14 near Bigger, around 7:55 p.m.

The man who died was driving. He and another passenger remained inside the side-by-side ATV during the rollover. The third man was thrown from the vehicle. None were wearing helmets.

One of those injured has already been released from hospital. The other is being observed in stable condition in hospital in Saskatoon.

Those involved in the rollover ranged in age from 17 to 20.

A cause of the rollover has not yet been identified. The name of the deceased has not been released by RCMP.
