Stransky getting set for U-20 4 Nations Tournament

Simon Stransky’s already extensive international hockey career will get even bigger this year.

Before his sophomore season with the Prince Albert Raiders next season, Stransky will represent his home country of the Czech Republic in the Under-20 4 Nations tournament Aug. 6-8. Also in the tournament are 1997-born squads from Germany, Switzerland and Slovakia.

Stransky has already played 45 games international games with the Czech national team at the Under-18, Under-17 and Under-16 squads.  Last year, Stransky played at the Under-18 World Junior Championships and the Ivan Hlinka tournaments. He has 27 points in 45 international games.

In his rookie season with the Raiders last year, he had 42 points in 70 games.
