Heat Smart Plus Inc. fires up alternative energy solutions at new location

Construction is finished on their new 16,000 square foot building and Heat Smart Plus Inc. is officially open for business. The new location on Highway 11, is just minutes outside Prince Albert near the new home of Redhead equipment. 

Heat Smart Plus specializes in providing and installing alternative energy heating and cooling systems including outdoor furnaces, indoor wood furnaces, in floor radiant heating, solar heating and geothermal. The new 16,000 square foot building provides increased space, for their operations, which includes a headquarters as the sole distributor of the Portage and Main boiler line in North America. The sale, design and installation of various heating systems and solutions.

At Heat Smart Plus, the principal of sustainable and ecologically conscious energy systems is the focus and the team practices what they promote. The new building on Highway 11 incorporates various green initiatives including geothermal heating and cooling, recycling rainwater and solar water heating.

The new building features the addition of a large showroom that profiles a variety of high quality gas and wood burning stoves and fireplaces as well as premium BBQ grills. Heat Smart Plus carries some of the finest gas and wood burning units from the industry’s best suppliers including Supreme, Quadra-Fire, STUV, Harman, Heat N Glo, EcoChoice, Valcourt, PSG and Saber. Visitors are encouraged to drop by the showroom and check out what is on display.

“Right now we are getting our showroom set up so people can visualize and see more burning models,” said Martin. “We already have several burning models showcased and we are looking into to setting up more.”

The staff at Heat Smart Plus will continue to encourage the mainstream use of renewable energy technologies and safe sustainable energy practices. They look forward to working with customers to better discover their heating needs and concerns, so they can provide solutions that are the best fit and value for them.

“We strive to find energy solutions that are more earth friendly and or cost effective for a variety of customers for the home and business,” said Martin.

“Alternative systems are something that we believe in, but we are also realistic as to what each customer’s energy requirements are, as such we also provide conventional heating systems that focus on energy efficiency.”

Things are heating up at Heat Smart Plus, as they plan various activities including: outdoor grilling events, a solar heating training seminar with North American Solar Solutions on July 27th, 28th and 29th /2015 and soon a grand opening ceremony.
