Raiders players scatter across North America for NHL camps

Half a dozen Prince Albert Raiders are putting in miles all across North America this week attending NHL development.

Two of them are at Vancouver Canucks’ development camp. The Canucks drafted Mackenze Stewart in the seventh round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft before signing him in May. The Canucks also invited Reid Gardiner to tag along as well.

Hunter Warner is attending his second development camp with the Minnesota Wild. Warner signed an entry level contract with the Wild last September after impressing the Wild brass in the team’s development and pre-season camps.

The two Raiders that were drafted in this year’s NHL Entry Draft, will go to their respective teams. Brendan Guhle was picked 51st overall by the Buffalo Sabres while Matteo Gennaro went in the seventh round to the Winnipeg Jets.
