VIDEO: Flash mob invades Saskatoon Children’s Festival
The Potash Corp Children’s Festival had a little bit of everything Friday including some skilled dancers.
In addition to the face painting, games, food and music – 120 students from Fairhaven School entertained festival goers with a 5-minute flash mob in Kiwanis Park. “Everybody had their different groups. We all made up dance moves, for our dances,” said Grade 5 student Angelica.
Angelica is part of an extracurricular group at the school called the Dream Team. Teacher and organizer Teresa Hill said the flash mob idea was a year in the making.
She said the group of Grade 3 to 6 students picked the songs and designed the choreography for the dance.
