Man dies after being struck by farm equipment north of Regina

A 71-year-old man is dead after being hit by farm equipment on a highway north of Regina on Friday.
RCMP say it happened just before 4 o'clock in Southey.
The man pulled his semi trailer to the side of Highway 6 on the North end, just south of Burns Avenue. He was getting out of the cab when he was stuck by farm equipment being pulled by a passing semi truck.
The man was rushed to the Regina General Hospital, with serious pelvic and head injuries. He died as a result of those injuries.
No names are being released.
Southey is 58 kilometres north of Regina.
