Crews respond to fire at building under renovation

Fire and smoke filled the air around an empty townhouse on Thursday afternoon.
The Prince Albert Fire Department responded to a blaze at a building under renovations around Ninth Street East and Third Avenue.
Fire chief Jason Everitt was on scene and said when crews arrived there was a fire around the corner of one of the units that had travelled up to the second floor balcony.
Crews were able to put the fire out. They’re investigating the cause of the fire.
