Police charge man in Regina’s 4th murder of 2015

Regina police have charged a young Regina man in the death of a 33-year-old woman who was found dead early Sunday morning.

The Regina Police Service confirmed Monday morning that the woman found dead in a home Sunday was murdered. Celeste Yawney, 33, was found dead in a home on Ingersoll Crescent around 8:30 a.m. Sunday.

Duran Justin Redwood, 26, is charged with second-degree murder in Yawney’s death. He was arrested on Sunday and will make his first court appearance Monday afternoon.

This is Regina’s fourth murder of 2015.
