Warm weather leads to more B&E activity

Another weekend of break and enters in Prince Albert.

Prince Albert Police report responding to two separate incidents of break and enters over the weekend.

On Saturday around 11 p.m. police were called to a residence in the 300 block of 16th Street West where a home had been broken into.

Police were able to arrest a 21-year-old man on scene and charged him with breaking and entering.

On Sunday around 2:30 a.m. police visited a home in the 3700 block of Second Avenue West for reports of a break and enter.

When they arrived officers spotted a dark red hatchback that was leaving the scene, and attempted to pull the vehicle over.

The driver began driving fast and dangerously, which forced police to cut the chase and the driver left the city going south.

The incident is being investigated.
