Layton stops in Regina
Jack Layton leaned on his cane for support while shaking hands at a stop in Regina, but his cries for change have not weakened.
He told a crowded room of supporters that Ottawa hasn't been there for Saskatchewan since last year's flooding.
Layton said his party has a bill that would bridge the divide over the controversial gun registry.
“To try to deal with some of the legitimate concerns people have about the registry and to try to actually make some progress forward,” he said.
