Jack Layton to stop in Saskatchewan Monday

Mar 28, 2011 | 12:01 PM

Day three of the election campaign will be a day of photo ops, hand-shaking, and rallying supporters for Canada's federal party leaders.

NDP Leader Jack Layton will stop at a rally at 10 a.m. Monday morning at the Artesian on 13th Avenue in Regina. Monday afternoon, Layton will meet with workers at his Moose Jaw campaign office before heading east to Hamilton.

Michael Ignatieff wil be taking his message about Conservative shortcomings to the Toronto area. The opposition parties spent the weekend fighting back against Harper's warnings about a plan for a coalition government by demanding he justify his own plan to seize power through a coalition in 2004 when there was a Liberal minority.

Prime Minister Harper will be making stops on Vancouver Island and in Edmonton Monday.
