5 arrested after SUV found stolen from Prince Albert

Five people have been arrested after allegedly stealing a vehicle from Prince Albert and throwing bottles at parked cars.

Around 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Saskatoon police got a call that some people in a GMC Yukon truck were throwing bottles at parked cars. After finding out the licence plate, police learned it had been stolen from Prince Albert early Monday morning.

Police found the truck near Confederation Drive and Borden Place when seven people ran out of the SUV. The K9 Unit was able to track down five suspects who were arrested.

Two girls, aged 14 and 15, from Prince Albert, a 17-year-old woman from Turtleford, a 26-year-old man from Saskatoon and 15-year-old boy from Prince Albert were arrested. They are scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday for possession of stolen property.
