McHappy Day brings out well-known faces to serve customers

May 6, 2015 | 3:55 PM

Local celebrities and a few Parkland Ambulance paramedics came together to help celebrate McHappy Day in Prince Albert.

The annual McDonald’s fundraiser sees funds from sales of Big Macs and Happy Meals go to the Ronald McDonald House in Saskatoon.

From 900 CKBI’s Neil ‘Doc’ Headrick and The Region at Noon’s Don Mitchell poured coffee and chatted with patrons while Trevor and Brittany (filling in for Chelsea) from the Power 99 morning show served up hot meals at the counter and the drive-thru window.

Outside, Parkland Ambulance paramedics offered to clean windshields and collected spare change for the Ronald McDonald Children’s Charities as well.
