Teenage boy’s death deemed suspicious

RCMP in Pelican Narrows are investigating the death of a 17-year-old boy.
At approximately 6:30 a.m. Saturday morning, RCMP were dispatched to a disturbance at a residence in the community.
Upon arrival, a 17-year-old boy was found in need of medical assistance. The boy was transported by police to the Angelique Canada Health Centre where he was declared deceased.
The investigation is being handled by Pelican Narrows RCMP Detachment with the assistance of the RCMP Major Crime Unit in Saskatoon and the Tisdale RCMP Forensic Identification Section.
