Woman’s body found near George Willis Bridge: RCMP

The RCMP is releasing more information about a dead body found in the Melfort area on Thursday afternoon.
The mounties have determined the person found dead was that of a 49-year-old woman. Investigators made this conclusion based on evidence at the scene and consultation with the woman’s family.
The woman’s body was found by a hunter, in an area west of the George Willis bridge.
Her death is not considered suspicious. The family has requested her name not be released.
