Hobson named to U18 Team Canada conditioning camp

Although she’s only 15, Prince Albert’s Brooke Hobson is already officially on Hockey Canada’s radar.

Hobson has been invited to the 2015 Summer Strength and Conditioning Camp for the national women’s under-18 team, May 6-10 in Hamilton, Ont.

Hobson led all Saskatchewan Female Midget AAA Hockey League defenders in scoring with 23 points in 26 regular season games with the Prince Albert A&W Bears.

The only other Saskatchewan player to be named on the U18 conditioning camp roster was Sophia Shirley, whose Saskatoon Stars beat the Bears in the Fedoruk Cup finals.

Out of the 50 players invited to the camp, Hobson is one of ten 1999-born players.
