Gateway Mall rocks more than just style on the weekend

Mallgoers at Prince Albert’s Gateway Mall were in for quite a show on Saturday.

The downtown mall pulled out the runway for its first fashion show in years.

Highlighting what’s available at the mall, the Rock Your Style fashion show was just a part of what made Gateway Mall a hub for activity.

A group of young musicians channeled AC/DC and other crowd-pleasing rock bands, with no shortage of proud parents and interested people crowded around the stage. That stage was hosted by Jam Street Bands.

The fashion show is one of a few that ran this week. On Thursday Wesmor students walked a runway showing affordable graduation dresses that have been made available through donations.

A bake sale added one extra element to the busy Saturday.
