Winter is back in P.A.

Mar 22, 2015 | 1:35 PM

Winter hit Prince Albert and surrounding areas hard this weekend.

However, based on a map from Highway Hotline it’s not only city streets which are snow covered; many highways have winter driving conditions.

Highway 2, both north and south of the city is reportedly slippery with swirling and blowing snow.

Highway 302 east of the city has snow drifts and blowing snow as well as slippery conditions, and highway 3 west of the city is slippery with snow drifts and drifting snow.

So far no highways have been closed, but with conditions like these drivers are advised to slow down and give yourself plenty of time to get to your destination.

No weather-related vehicle collisions have been reported at this time.

Mark Gerlyand with Environment Canada said we’re right around normal temperatures for March, but the month can be pretty unpredictable.
