Prime Minister makes a stop in Saskatoon

Mar 12, 2015 | 7:34 AM

Saskatoon will get a visit from Prime Minister Stephen Harper today.

The Prime Minister will make a joint announcement with Premier Brad Wall at the government’s highway repair depot in Sutherland.

Harper will then participate in a moderated question and answer session at the Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municpalities (SARM) convention.

Harper rolls into town at a time where he has made headlines this week for his stance that face-covering veils worn by some Muslim women are a product of a culture that is “anti-women.”
