Crews patching potholes in Saskatoon

Mar 9, 2015 | 5:35 PM

Warmer temperatures have city crews working to fix potholes in Saskatoon streets.

Workers are using cold mix asphalt to patch holes on priority one streets.  A city spokesperson said they can’t switch to hot asphalt until companies start making it again, usually around late April or early May.

At Vern’s car wash on 11th Street and Avenue P, many were taking advantage of the warm-up to get their vehicles cleaned up.

Fresh from putting a shine on his truck, Peter Kulak said he’d noticed the potholes this year around the Avenue P area and on 20th Street.
