Feb 27, 2015 | 10:29 AM

One woman was taken to the hospital with injuries after she was struck by a truck on Marquis Road Friday morning.

According to the Prince Albert Police Service, the woman was crossing Marquis Road near Fifth Avenue East and a westbound vehicle struck her.

Alcohol and speed are not considered factors at this time, said Sgt. Brandon Mudry.

Westbound traffic was being diverted through the nearby Tim Hortons parking lot for part of the morning. Pieces of vehicle debris were on the road, in front of the coffee shop’s parking lot.
