Highway 3 collision victim named

One person is dead following a crash between a semi truck and an SUV Thursday afternoon five kilometres south of Prince Albert on Highway 3.

RCMP said one man in the SUV was pronounced dead on scene and two additional passengers have been transported to Prince Albert Victoria Hospital. The RCMP said the man who died is Calvin Butler, 82, of Prince Albert.

Parkland Ambulance paramedics, Prince Albert RCMP and fire crews responded to the accident.

According to Parkland Ambulance, an 18-year-old woman injured in the accident was taken to hospital and has since been transferred to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, where she is in good and stable condition. A 21-year old man injured in the accident was taken to Victoria Hospital where he remains in good and stable condition.
