Corner Gas auction to take place in Regina

Mar 20, 2011 | 8:43 AM

Corner Gas fans will have a chance to buy a piece of Saskatchewan television history when the show's production company sells off props, costumes and set pieces during a three-day auction from Mar. 25 to Mar. 27.

Memorabilia includes Dog River signs, furniture from the Dog River police station, and article from the Corner Gas station, among other items. Proceeds from the sale will go to the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan.

The show’s creator and star, Brent Butt, said the decision to sell off the pieces was made during a visit to the production company’s storage site.

“We did a big walk through of the inventory site, and decided we’d give fans a chance to buy a piece of the show,” said Butt.
