3 women injured by snowmobile

La Ronge RCMP are investigating a crash between a snowmobiler and three pedestrians.

On Saturday around 1:40 a.m., La Ronge RCMP were called to the Lac La Ronge First Nation. 

RCMP say the three women involved were walking down Bell’s Point Road when a snowmobile approached from behind and hit them.

The women told RCMP the snowmobiler did apologize but didn’t stick around for when the authorities showed up.

All three women sustained lower leg injuries and were transported to the La Ronge Health Centre. 

Patrols are currently looking for the snowmobile and its operator.

The snowmobiler was last seen heading towards Lac la Ronge lake.
